About me

First of all I am putting on this cite official news from other sources, for my own usage, to remember what I had to go through.

I am a foreigner living in Japan almost 12 years. I am living in Sendai. The city was hit by earthquake, and ocean side by tsunami. My family life was affected by nuclear crises. I have two beautiful daughters and I care for their future. The public information are mild in Japan to prevent any panic of nation or Tohoku region. Yet we are facing one of the worst and longest nuclear disasters ever. My home is 100 Km from Fukushima, and I care to face reality.

Mal by som ist do Shizuoky. Takze momentalne vaham, jeden den idem a druhy nie….

Nech sa Vam a Vasej rodine dari a vsetko dobre dopadne…

  4. Hi Henri,

Thank you very much for your detailed information anyway.
Scary what happens in your environment. I have had closer look the the things that happened after the chernobyl accident and I totally understand your concerns especially about your kids.

Recently I signed for an new job that will guide me to Sendai, Fukushima and some other locations in Japan during the year.
Learning from you about the bad information policies of the Japanese and Local authorities is scaring me a little. So I will follow your blog and hope to be a little more up to date than just by media. Unfortunately we did not hear anything about Fukushima for 2 month here in germany. Seems that media is either controlled or just uninterested for bringing bad news from japan…

So I would appreciate to read/see more of you here.

  5. Hi Henri,
in Jun and July I read about food contamination, but now (at least) western medias are silent. Do you thing it is getting better?
How confident are you that check systems are safe and nothing is getting through?
    Take care.

  6. Hello,

I am Thierry Boutonnier. French Artist.

For an art-show to the GOETHE INSTITUTE in Lyon (france), I wish to do a particular and rather simple work.
In order to denounce the nuclear situation in Japan (and thus in the world). I’m sad about what’s happen and I would help as I can.

The project is simple: To receive parcels (food, rice, milk…), and postcards coming from the province of Fukushima.

The parcels and or postcard would be soaked in the courses d’ water of the area, then dried before sends.

These parcels and postcards of Fukushima will be exposed.
If, in spite of sending, the postal services block the parcel because a too strong rate of radioactivity, this censure will reveal the situation.
If you know people in the area who want to take part in the experiment.

I can paid the sending. If you IBAN number.

I would be happy to work together in the development what really there does without low.

By advance, I thank you for your attention.

    Respectfully

    Thierry Boutonnier
